they have a red fish tank ther so i would asume they would. if not ther is a little shallow bay about 50 yards behind my house. the bay is full of bait fish and inverts for him to munch on. its also full of more little reds and eel grass. i call it the nursery because off all the little reds. but during spring the big boys come into spawn and its game on!

You could ask them but don't be surprised if they say no. I'm not sure how he would do if released since he's used to having food tossed at him he might not know how to find and hunt for his own food.

he does eat live silver sides and he is very domesticated. he will try to eat the net when i put it in.
