Does anyone know if bristle stars are aggressive toward shrimp? I put in a cleaner and a pep in my 10, and they're both gone 2 days later. I can't find 'em anywhere. Got a percula and royal gamma in there too.
any ideas....:notsure:

sounds like your brittle star ate them. i wouldn't call themaggressive, but they are oppertunistic feeders.

your chances of a star lasting is very slim in a 10gallon.
I'd take it back and get something else..

Well Technically there is no reason he can't be in there.
It's just that they are senstive to water quality changes that occur in such a small tank.
Even the smallest evaporation causes salinity changes, which can slowly kill stars.
Keep up the good work.
