bristle tooth tang

i have a bristle tooth tang on hold at my lfs he is a cute little guy but i cant find any info about them is there another name they are known by

Ctenochaetus strigosus is the most common bristletooth. Common names include Kole's Tang, Yelloweye Bristletooth, Yelloweye Surgeonfish. Any tang in that genus can be called a bristletooth tho.

ah crap then i have no idea what kind he is he kinda looks like a kole tang but he is a greyish color with beige lines

You should also check under Tomani Tang. It is a bristletooth tang, relaetd very closely to the Kole Tang, but with orange fins.
I have been seeing a lot of "pale" "albino" Kole's in lfs lately, so it might be that.

it doesn't have orange fins and it is bigger than a kole tang i wish i had a pic but he is still at the lfs
