Bristle Worm Infestation

Hey reefers!!! I usually post in the aggressive forum but I thought that you guys may have the best responses for this. There has been an enormous outbreak of pink segmented bristle worms in my 55 recently. The number has tripled since the tank was set up 2 months ago. The solitary inhabitant is my brazillian dragon eel. Any help with getting rid of these pests would be appreciated.

Cut back on the amount or frequency of feedings. The less nutrients in the tank, the less bristleworms you'll have.... In most cases. :D

hey,
Bristleworms are a great addition to a cleanup crew in a reef tank, I just set up a couple of new tanks & would love more BW to put in there. I'll be willing to give you a couple bucks for your trouble & pay for shipping.
Just a thought, let me know if interested - msitework@aol.com
FYI, arrow crabs & Coral Banded Shrimp eat bristle worms also

Ive got some pretty BIG ones in there. They annoy me when I clean the tank because when I turn over the sand bed the bristles they shed get stuck in my fingers and hands. I can only imagine how my poor little eel feels about them.
