bristle worm?????

I found 2 of these worms in my tank this morning and was grossed out. I didn't know what it was so i looked in the identify thread and someone had found the same thing in the first thread. lol. Anyway it was identified as a bristleworm by u all but not much was said about them. So can anyone tell me what it is and do i need to worry. My tank has only been running about 7 months. I only have a 3 different damsels and some crabs. Yesterday i put in my first soft coral. 2 xenia's and 2 kenya tree's. R the worms any threat to them?

Probably not a threat but it's not impossible. If it were me I would leave the worms where they are unless you see them eating something you like. The vast majority of these worms only eat detritus or the dead/dying.
