bristle worms

i got these ugly bristle worms in my tank i dont know if they are good or bad but the little tube you buy at the fish store does not work so i put a small butter dish in tie tank with some brine shrimp in it i cut a small x in the top of the butter dish and i caught one of the ugly little

just thought i would let you know so you dont have to waste 15 dollars at the fish store

Almost all bristle worms are good guys a good part of a clean up crew. I would only remove them if they got extremly larg.

yeah i agree with nacl, they do a great job of aeraetign a sandbed, and feed on detritus and decaying flesh. before tossing them, post on the board as im sure there are a ton of people here who would love to thae them off your hands for ya!

what do these worms look like? i found a couple things going in and out of my rock, orange with white spikes all over them,. are these bristle worms?
