Hay you all, I found a Bristleworm last night crawing from Underneath one of my liverock and when I tryed to get him he went up in the rock. Can some one tell what is the best way to get him, and also will he hurt anything If I leave him alone?
Thanks Spider9376

For every one you see there are probably 3 more. I'd suggest getting something that will eat them. You can try a trap, but they are not very effiecient.
They really do not harm anything, unless they are in plague numbers. Just don't touch them! They eat detritus which is a good thing!

Yeah don't touch him. I used to always move my rocks around with bare hands. Then one night I picked up a small rock and got a nasty stinging feeling on my finger. Dropped the rock and there were 100+ bristles stuck. Needed tweezers to remove them. Spent about 30-45 minutes. Four weeks later and still hasn't fully healed.
This happened with only a 2" worm. I got some 8 inchers about. Most don't do any harm but some are bad news. Up to you on keeping them....they are detritus feeders so that is usually good.

Next time just soak your finger in vinegar for 5 minutes.
