bristleworm?

found a worm in my tank tonight that looks just like the last picture in the bristleworm id thread. long and flat with bristles on the sides, kinda greenish. this thing was about 5 inches long stretched out. was able to catch it and get it out and is now in a bucket. to keep? or not to keep? not sure which way to go here. help me please!!

Bristleworms are good detritus eaters. I'd keep him.

Depends if you mind seeing him in there or not.
If it is indeed a bristleworm they won't harm your tank -- just eat leftover everything including poop... completely safe (if indeed a bristleworm) just not very pretty to most people.
