Bristleworm ?

Yanked this guy from under a rock yesterday.
It wasn't very fast or hard to catch.
The red part looked like it would go into the body then come out again.
Sorry for the bad pic,but is this a bristleworm?
Don't know if its harmful,but its no longer in the tank

Put it back in. There is a lot of miss information regarding bristle worms. I keep several large ones in my tanks. They are great for the CUC. Some people keep them in their clown fish grown out tanks because they only eat the dead fish and left over food. If you find a bristle worm eating a tank inhabitant it was already dead and they are just cleaning up the left overs.
