Brittle Star

I have a 29 gal tank and recently added some nassarius snails and other inverts for a CUC. I am only down to 1 for some reason even though the parameters were fine so instead of getting a new group of 10 i was wondering if i could just skip the snails and go 4 a brittle star? I am thinking of adding corals as well so i'm just wondering if the birttle star will get aggressive and possibly eat some of the fish in my tank or any turbos i have?

From my experience these are very shy star fish. They are scavengers and eat off the surface areas but not glass. I haven't seen them show any aggression towards fish at all. They usually hide in the day and come out at night. I believe you could get away with getting him to help you but they are a hit or miss kind of deal. Meaning some are very good eaters and some dont eat hardly at all. While if you went with 4 snails they would eat as much or more. ITs up to you.
