Well if you was in tampa fl i would hook you up real cheap but yor not so i cant help ya but maybe i can give you some helping info, dont take me wrong cause im not trying to be a smart a$$ or anything but if you are that broke and cant buy a new tank i really dont think you should be setting up a tank right now cause its going to take somes bucks to get it up and going so please dont make your fish pay the price, never rush a saltwater tank is the key to enjoyment.
just my 2 cents

I have been to almost all of them around my area. I really like tropiaquatics, living sea is okay, scotts, and my buddy works at ***** i might just go there! :D

have you ever been to Living Sea in Park Ridge?
Last I was there (after the fire) they had the most awsome salt selection around. They are on Devon Ave. near Cumberland Ave.

how about picking up a rubber maid to keep your rocks alive. then you can save up and pick up a tank later down the road. hope everything turns out alright.

yes the living sea is for rich ppl ,yes and IMO tropi-aquatics is the best place to go .Thats the really only place i shop .I've been to all the others .

Hey,
It's nice to see a lot of people from Illinois. This is my first post on this board. And I figured I would chime in. I do most of my shopping at Advanced Aquatics. They are real close to me, and you can't beat their price on hardware. Just bought a 250 watt Iwasaki for $160. And he has really nice fish and coral. IMO definatly worth visiting. And yes I agree with you about Living Sea, for the price of one coral you can probably buy 3 or 4 at other stores. Can you say 300% mark-up... Their livestock does look healthy though. Hope this helps for suggestions on LFS..
