Broken Devil's Hand

Three days ago I added a medium size Devil's Hand to my 150 gal reef. One of the fingers of the hand either broke in shipment or by a fish brushing against it. It is just hanging by a thread. Broken part appears healed or healing on both sides of the break. my question is should I remove the broken part or just let nature take its course? Can I propagate the broken finger? If so, how do I start?

Can you frag devil's hands? If you can, I'd cut the broken piece the rest of the way off and attach it to a rock, see if it will grow. If they aren't really able to be fragged though, then I'd just let nature take its course. Sorry I can't help more. :thinking:

I got a piece of devil's hand tonight at Ocean Exotics that was fragged. It seems to be doing well in the tank - hope yours turned out alright!
