Broken light

Well my new light came today...opened it tonight...broken

I called the supplier, they were nice, they asked me to take it apart and take the glass out to see if the actual fixture works, if the fixture works they will send me new bulbs asap, if not...well I hope they will send me a new light asap....it's a MH/T5 1084 watts...very pricey if you know what I mean.
So far 4 T5 bulbs are broken and I see one of the MH bulbs that appears to be broken...
Since it is so late I can not take it apart tonight since I really need to do outside...don't need glass shards in my carpet....I guess my hookup will have to wait...sigh

it sort of reminds me of the sweet present you got when you were little and all you want to do is play with it and you got no batteries!! Unfortunately in your case the whole damn toy is broken

WOW...although I am disappointed that my new light came with broken bulbs, after carefully checking the unit out everything mechanical works...I ended up with 4 broken T5's and 1 broken MH (250W)..WELLLLL the company is sending me 8 NEW T-5's and 3 NEW 250W MH bulbs....That means I'll have 2 extra MH, and 4 extra T-5's...that's $225 in extra bulbs.....Can't complain about that.

Wow, nice compensation for the frustration. Good to see a business truly value a customer.
