I came home to find that the clowns I recently got have Brooklynella. One did not make it, and I started the other one on a Formalin bath.
Is there anything else I can do for the little guy?

Formalin baths are all that you can do. Hopefully you caught it in time.

How can ypu prevent this. I have had multiple clowns die from this and I feel like it is not fair to them. I tried different store, the water quality is good, everything else thrives, i follow proper acclimation.

Brooklynella is a parasite that effects their thick slime coat. It is also known as "Clownfish Disease" you cannot prevent it but you can treat it. The best way to handle this is to be sure that the clowns first go into quarantine then watch them closely. Always have formalin on hand when you purchase clowns. Be ready to treat them should the symptoms begin.

You can set up a quarantine tank and use it for all incoming fish. This way, you will immediately be able to identify problems at the onset, and treat them wo difficulty. This is the only way.

I just bought another clown a few weeks ago. Had him in my qt and nothing established. I put him in my nano tank and as was well for a week. My other Clown him were trying to figure out who was male and female.
My Clown that I have had for over two months is fine. This new clown has started to develop Brooklynella. Is it contagious? I have since put it back in qt but Im now worried about my other clown.

I did treatment on Tuesday and he looked slightly better after, and we did treatment today. I hope the little guy will pull through.
Well we didn't qt him because he was the only fish that would be in the tank.
My question is, evem if we QT and it doesnt show up - could it show up once tranfering from qt to dt?
Thanks for all the information so far.

If you quarantine a new fish for a minimum of three to four weeks, you will see any diseases before the fish leaves the QT.

Don't use straight formaldehyde. Formalin is 37% (if I recall correctly). Just buy formalin.
