Broomer5, question!

I was wondering what that coral was that you posted in the 6-pack thread? I have the same thing in my tank but no one at the fish store can tell me what it is... I got it for free though cause it came on my LR, so they were kinda mad ;) I thought it had died during my nitrate explosion, but half of it came back to life, so Im kinda wondering what the heck it is?

Thanks Broomer!
Krusk,
Nice to see another GR reefer on this end too :) About the only thing I ever have to trade is extra Caulerpa, but if you ever need any just let me know, I could use a new scoop of LS, my nitrate explosion killed most of my little live critters.
Oh, and I dont suppose you know when the new VI Pets is opening? I was over there the other day and forgot to ask, but I heard they were gonna have a larger saltwater area in the new one and would love to get a job there to help with the GVSU bills. Or if you know of any place other than VI Pets and the Coral Reef (their hours are hard for me to get to).

did The Coral Reefs shut down few months ago? I though they did. :)
Yes, I know the VI Pets big guys (3 managers)
They claimed that their saltwater store will be the biggest in the westcoast.
It's sound pretty big from what they have descripted to me. I will soon give that new store a visit.
what type of caulerpa do you have?
I have about 4-5 different types and growing. I can give you some if they are not what you had.
I have lots of snails: neriths, nassarious, turbo etc.
There isn't any store that worth a visit. So, I wouldn't show you them.
Let me know when do you like to have some live sand. I'm willing to give you a cub.

I just tried to go to the Coral Reef today and saw that they were closed! If only I had checked this board sooner. I didnt even know that VI Pets new store was open already... where is it do you know? And I belive them when they say it will be the largest on the west coast, there are barely any reef stores around here! My favorite place to go is Pruess Animal House in Haslett, they are totally awesome and most of them know me :p
As for the caulerpa, I only have one type, and it has the little rows of bubbles, but I dont know what it is called. The stuff grows so fast though that I was thinking of selling it to VI Pets because they never have any, but now with their new store they probably will. *runs off to search for the new VI Pets store*
