Yes. "If you can read this, thank a teacher" "If you are reading it in English, thank a veteran."

my Brother-in-Law is in Iraq right now with the 82nd Airborne. He's coming home (g-d willing) in April for 10days and then he's got another year b/c they just extended everyone's tour. Grrrr. We miss him and want him home safe, but we are VERY proud of him at the same time.
G-d bless all the courageous ones. Bless them and keep them safe.

My brother-in-law is going to Iraq for the second time, coming up pretty quick. He's in Kansas right now, though -- recently (re)moved from El Paso, Texas. We miss him! :(

My brother is going as well, he was due to retire, but put in for 2 more years. His plan was to stay until Bush is out of office, he is 48 and got called to Iraq. He was on the front lines for desert storm. Desert storm was a joke to a lot of people because it didn't last long, but he was in the front lines and suffered damage from the gas grenades or whatever they used. He did not come back the same. He still flipps out evey now and again. He has always been a very docile person. Anyway, he lives 3 hrs above me in upstate NY. He stopped by two weekends ago to say his final good-byes. He hasn't even left yet. I still have a cousin that was a victim of a car bomb that is STILL not back in NY for his recovery. I am so sick of this freaking war. I cannot even begin to describe.

Tell him thank you. And tell him no matter what the media or politicians say, there are still plenty of good people that thank God every day for their service.
