brown algae bloom

Tank is a 90 gallon
Amiracle SL 15 hang on wet dry with skimmer
2 rio power heads
50 lbs live rock
6 damsels
12 turbo snails
Tank has been set up for about three weeks and is still only showing small rise in ammonia. However I have a fairly heavy brown algae cover over everything. Should I stir it and try to move it? or leave it alone.? Tank stays pretty cloudy should I find cannister filter or any good ideas?

brown algae is normal in newly established tanks. you can wipe it off your glass if you want, but in time it'll resolve it self.
