brown algae in new tank?

I have a new tank that's been running for 5 weeks. It was cycled because we used stuff from the old tank. Used live sand and some live rock along with dead rock. Last week we got the 4 VHO lights installed and now I'm getting a rust colored algae stuff on the sand and rocks. (not the live ones) Is this just because it's a new setup, and will it go away and grow something green? I don't remember having this when I set up the last tank but that was 8 years ago, so maybe my memory just isn't very good.

Its most likely a diatom bloom, common in new tanks, it will pass with time given there is not an overabundance of nutrients ;) HTH
