brown algae

I've got spots of brown algea starting to appear in my tank, I've been cycling now about a week and a half. I added something called Cycle yesterday, is this normal?? It's not alot yet just some starting to appear on tank and on glass, do I clean it or leave it??

I believe they are diatoms....Are you using tap water or RO/Di??
And you can scrub it off and clean it??
what size your tank? How long been cycling?? i wouldnt suggest adding any formula to cycle, the natural way is the way to go......Add a shrimp to get your amonia up...

Using distilled right now, will be using RO next week.
9 gal, has been cycling about a week and a half
has 4 stomatella snails and two blueleg hermits as hitchikers
has 10lbs lr and 20lbs ls
so do I clean it?? very little of it right now
I have had temp problems, the temp shooting up in the tank in the early mornings, hitting almost 83F even if I have heater turned down. Temp usually stays steady around 80-81 with lights on, hits 79 with lights off.
