brown algae

hi everyone. i have this tank that is always growing brown algae on it. i always scrub my tank with a mag float but it just doesnt seem to work because after scrubing the tank, in 2 days the brown algaes grows back out. i was wondering if there is anything out there that can stop the brown algae. thx.

the tank is 8 months old

turn ur light off most of the day like only leave it on when your looking at the tank it helps alot after a while the algae slowly disapears then is replace by benificial algae

Mexican turbo and Margarita snails worked great for me with also decreasing the length of time the lights were on.
