How old is the tank?
Brown normally appears in new tanks and is actually diatoms... They'll slow down in a short while and get cleaned up by the cleanup crew.

The tank is farely new. About 3 weeks. But I dont have any cleanup crew in there. Will the algea go away over time, or do I need the crew now.

let the tank finish its cycle... once that is done, add in the crew and they will feast!
Mine did the same thing... then a bout of hair algae, red-slime, and now bubble... Now, my coraline is really coming in all over the rocks...

you don't want to add a clean up crew until after your tank has fully cycled. it will go away with time and is a regular occorance in new set ups...especially if you are not using RO water.
