How can i get rid of Brown Diatom Algae?
Tank 50 gallon
purple angel
damsel
maroon clown
bicolor blennie
50# live rock
lots of corals

We need a little more info about your setup, lights, cleanup crew to properly evaluate your problem.

sometimes moving the live rock around can cause diatom blooms I think. Have you done any rearranging lately?
we need more info. tank specs. ect. ect.

The lights are jbj compact. The water conditions are ok. i tested it tonight. i have 20 snails 10 crabs i arrow crab.

using ro water only.

That may be the problem. I have heard that RO does not remove the silicates which contibute to diatom problems but that you need DI. HTH
