Increased intense lighting,New bulbs,Metals, phosphates, silicates, sulfates ........ If your using tap water use distilled ,RO,RO/DI.If your useing RO or RO/DI maybe its time to change your filters, membrane and resin.

diatoms. they eventually go away for most people. sometimes in a few months, sometimes in a year. you can always get a fighting conch (which eats diatoms and moves the sand at night) or sifting goby (that will eat prepared) to keep the sand looking clean.

I am using ro/di water and the filters were changed a couple months ago. Someone told me to use something that removes silicates called eco something. Thanks

you can remove all the silicates (granulated ferric oxide/GFO does this as good as anything) but the diatoms will persist until they cease to persist. I have waited up til 9 months with perfectly good water and thriving reef with the only visable problem being diatoms on the sand then bam almost overnight gone. the liverock is easy, the clean up crew rids diatoms off live rock just about immediately but the sand is not so easy. you can try to go ultra low nutrients, get a sand stirrer/diatom consumer or just wait it out.

Looking at your tank size and stock list, I would add a Diamond Goby and reduce feedings a little. Should clear up within a week.
sidenote...DG's are jumpers, so if you don't have a top on your tank, don't expect to keep him for long.
