brown growthon rock and glass

i have a fugus looking growth on the rock ,sand, glass last week of cycle. what is this?

If it is brown and covering the sand and live rock, it is probably diatoms. Perfectly normal. A good sign that the cycle is entering its last phase. A good clean up crew will take care of it in no time. Whats in your tank so far?
