Brown Jelly Infection!

I just noticed a brownish ooze in the corner of my hammer coral. How can i kill this bacteria? freshwater dips? iodine? brush away the snotty stuff?

You can get some of that coral dip stuff and hope it helps. Is it a branching one? If not your chances may be worse for saving it.
