Brown Spots on White Carpet Anemone?

What would cause brown specs on a white carpet anemone?

There should be no white carpet anemone, white in the hosting anemones is a sign of ill health. If it is getting brown spots perhaps it is regaining its sybiotic algae again.
Explain about your anemone, how long have you had it, lighting or anything that might help us figure out what is happening. Got any pics?

340 watts of pc in a 110 gallon. I got it about 5 months ago and it was white. and BIG.

The brown on the tips is good soon it will all be a brown

So the brown is a good thing, ever since i had it, about 5 months it has been WHITE.

Actually, healthy condy's turn brown when they are healthy, the white ones are normaly bleached... If it indeed a condy, then the color should be an indication on good health...

How can I be sure the species of the anemone. And if it is, a condy, how long would it take for it to turn, pending on the quality of water of course.
