I had a yellow tang for about a week in QT tank. It started getting a brown spot on one side which spread to the other side and then to the top of iys head. It stopped eating and stayed at the bottom. I added some fungal medication but that did nothing. It eventually died. Does anyone know what it was?
The tank is a 10 gallon and has been up for about 6 months and there is nothing in there except a small piece of LR which I have taken out. The parameters are all fine except for a slight raise in ammonia ( 0.25). Is this enough to kill the fish?
Any suggestions?
