brown stuff! ICK!

Hmm i got this brown stuff forming on the bottom of my tank. Its growing on my some of my rock and sand on the bottom. Is this badd??? How do i clean it of it is. Thanks

diatoms is normal for a new system .... as stated, it will go away on it's own.
a good clean up crew will help it along.

what would be a good clean up crew?? i got a porupine puffer and a luana wrasse. I heard the wrasse will eat stuff like snails and stuff.

As Cannonman and Bigarn said, it will go away.
A good clean-up crew, and good water circulation will also help (Besided just being a generally good idea anyway).
A "Clean-up crew" usually consists of snails, maybe some hermits, and possibly certain starfish or other things like sea hares, sea cucumbers, urchins. They spend their time looking for and consuming things like algea and other growths, leftover food, as well as detris (poo-poo).

ya i noticed one part of my tank has it but the other part dont. Thats where my powerhead is at. but what is a good clean up crew??

How much of each should i have in my 75 gallon tank??
