Brugmansia blooming.

We moved this brugmansia in last weekend because the weather is getting colder. Kind of a pain to winter over, but our greenhouse is pretty full and having a 75 gallon FW tank in there does not help, so into the den it went. Those blooms really are that big and this is not a forced perspective shot at all. Anybody else growing brugs?

Ha! I had them for years and had no idea why someone kept stealing and breaking mine. They are like weeds, break off a shoot, it will root in no time flat. I just couldn't understand why they would steal my flowers and not just grow their own. Ignorance is bliss.

Darth brugmansia are highly toxic and are used by Indian tribes in South America to communicate with ancestors or gods. It is considered the "key" to the spirit world.
