Brute Trash Cans from Home Depot

I've heard the brute trash cans are really good to use to store water. Are the gray brute trash cans that Home Depot sell the right ones to use? They say "commercial" so I was not sure. Here is a picture of it except the ones they sell by me are gray:

They sell for $20.99 and the dolly wheels are $26.00. Someone mentioned about leaching so I want to be sure this can is ok to store water from and RO/DI unit.

I have a couple of em with dollys that I use for water changes. My local LFS uses them as well. They work great.

my lfs uses them too. seen a few with bulkheads in the sides.

I use them also. Rubbermaid trash cans are good too and usually a little cheaper.

I use the rubbermaid ones to store salt and RO water and they work fine.

Are the brute cans you are using the gray ones that say commercial? If you look on the label, it gives certain colors that are food safe which is what I thought you had to use. If you are using the regular cans and having no problems, I assume they are safe. If you look at the rubbermaid food storage bins, they are over $100 dollars and not something I'm willing to invest in right now.
