there are fish and inverts that do. But check your levels. high phosphate, and nitrite will increase algae. do some water changes with ro water. If you've been using tap water thats your problem there.

The only thing i have found that will eat bryopsis is a lettus nudibranch. I got two for my 55 gal, and they cleaned it up really nice. ( i use ro water and my levels are zero). That type of alge is really hard to get rid of. even now after the nudis are gone, it is starting to come back slowly, and i am going to get another. They dont live long (the nudis)

I am convinced that the best way to iradicate bryopsis and hair algae from your tank is to shut the lights off for two weeks (if you have corals this is a problem, I moved my corals into a holding tank with lights for a while), then after the algae is dead, you remove the rock and scrub it down with a toothbrush, Be sure your water has no nitrate and phosphate and you should be fine. It is just very difficult to get rid of once it has taken hold.
