Bryopsis D: help?

At first, I thought it was hair algae, but yesterday I was reading up on different types of macros, and I discovered the difference between hair algae and bryposis, so naturally, I ran over to my quarantine tank (which has small patches of it growing on the glass) and studied the algae closely, and I have come to the conclusion it is bryopsis, as it has "feathery" ends.

So, now, I need your guys' suggestions about how to rid my tank of this monster! I've heard high magnesium levels will do it, but I'm unsure if this is safe?
It's only on the glass for right now, although I think its starting to spread to a piece of live rock I have in there. Currently in my quarantine tank, is:
cleaner shrimp
peppermint shrimp
Bannerfish
Orange Monti Cap
Zoas
Xenia
Yellow Poylps
Green Spotted Mushroom
Unidentified tube worm thing
Chaeto ball

If it's only on the glass...scrape it off into a net......if it gets on the rock you will have to scrub it off in SW
a lettuce nudibranch will eat it slowly...but then it will starve to death

Thanks for the quick reply! :)
Im going to try the net thing and use an airline as a siphon to get rid of any of it floating around.
I've heard freezing the rock will work? since I only have that one rock, I think ill try that too.
That nudibranch only eats bryopsis right? Plus, I doubt my LFS would have it in stock.

Well, I'll try the net/siphon method first, and see if it comes back (hopefully not)
I dont have any snails in the tank right now, but would it negatively affect anything else in the tank?

not if u raise it by 100 ppm or less a day. i can guarantee that you wont be able to kill the bryopsis by just siphoning it, especially when its in the rocks.

Well, its only on the glass right now, so I'm going to scrape it off and siphon up anything that floats away. I only have one rock in there, so I'm going to put it in the freezer for 48 hours
