BTA Splitting, Bad Thing?

we have a 90 gallon reef tank -
started out with one anemoe we now have 5 in the tank with 3 clown fish.
is it ok to keep the five?

imo, you should be fine with 5 if they are not hurting anything. I had 17 in my 72 at one time. it took 3-4 years of splits to get that many. i didn't have any corals then so they could roam anywhere they wanted.

All clones? Depends on what corals are there for them to harm when the migrate.

When mine split they both stayed on the same rock, until I did a complete reaquascape and moved their rock to the other side of the tank. The original one seemed to like his new spot but the other could not stay still. Ended up going over my overflow box, down into the sump and then committed suicide by getting caught in my skimmer pump.
So I'm back down to one, which is fine with me, because the other one was starting to cause problems moving around so much.

Well, if he would have stayed in the DT like he should have, he would have been safe. I never told him to go up and over the overflow.
