bta stuck in powerhead

My bta has been moving around and I just found him with part of the way sucked in. I pulled him out had to cut him out of the powerhead. Lost about quater of it to the powerhead blew all over the tank. He has attached himself to the glass will he live.

You actually should of just turned the PH off and let him work his way out.

He was in tentical first and they were all wrapped up in there. I guess though I just hopes he makes it

i also lost a bubble tip in a powerhead, could not belive it fitinto it but it did.
i wont get one angain.

You definitely need to do a water change ASAP, and run fresh carbon!!

My BTA got stuck in the filter intake a couple of months ago too! He looked like hell, 2 monthe later he looks great. Hope yours turns out the same.

my bta got sucked into the filter mesh intake and looked almoset dead and i took that part of and put it on the bottom of the tank and it just got out of it after a couple of hours. also a guy at my lfs got on ein his power head and it shreded it in to 30 pieces and half grew new bta
