I agree with Perfect. PC light is only good for a few softies within the aquarium environment, light demanding species like anemones require more intense lighting. While you can get away with a good amount of PC light in a shallow aquarium, it isn't recommended. You are also stacking the odds against success w/ using less lighting. Anemones are in general more difficult to care for then other aquarium animals, and you are lessening your chances of success w/ bad lighting.
I would honestly suggest a MH. I have a 30 gallon tank w/ a 150 watt MH. Had my anemone for a year in a half and everything is going well.

Lex,
Would the 70 watt Viper HQI Clamp Lamp work? I found it for 177 bucks with shipping and a coupon. Anyone found a better deal?

Perfect is seriously a more experiences hobbiest than me. If honestly feels it would work, i would side with him 99.9% of the time. I didn't read through your profile so i don't know the size of your tank. But i know those clip-on lights are good, as long as we aren't talking about a large aquarium (meaning the clip is only illuminating half of the tank).

You won't find any better advice than what Dark is telling you. If he didn't experience it then he researched it. And as Lex said, I also would side with Dark in a heartbeat. He knows what he's talking about.
