i have a 30 gallon tank with two clowns and a valentini puffer. I am considering buying bubble coral. Does anyone have any expirience with thease. If so are they easy to take care of? Are they sensitive twords thing like changes in nitrates. If one of the bubbles got popped could that kill the whole coral?

Having no direct experience with ether clowns or bubble corals don’t do it…

If the clowns adopts the bubble coral as its host its days are numbered…

Clowns won't host bubble corals, I have 2 FPC and they run from it. Its sting is way to strong and at night it has sweeper tentacles that can reach 6 inches in length killing anything it touches. Looks like Doppler Radar.
Don't know about the bubble being popped havent faced that issue however, they are not as delicate as you may think. They get HUGE so give them ample room to spread. Check youtube videos on them.
As far as care light flow and medium light is ok, I have a friend that has a neon green bubble coral that he has had under power compacts for 2 years now and it even split.
They need to be inserted into the water bubble side down to prevent it from sucking in air as you put it into the water.
Outside of that I feed it brime, mysis and oyster eggs once a week. Not all but one of the three.
IMHO oyster eggs are a hidden secret in this hobby, my corals swell up almost twice they size once i feed them that stuff. Just remember to kill the pumps for about 10 minutes before you feed. You want still water and just baste the food above the coral and let it fall onto it.

They split into 2 seperate colonies with 2 different bases. Once that happens you can split them. Best way is with a band saw running through water to keep it cool. Much the same way they frag brain corals. Just remember this coral gets HUGE. The video I showed you is it at night its probably 3 times that size during the day.

yes it will host. that one covered almost half of the tank it was in. so roughly 12 inches across was awesome. Unfortunately it didnt make the move well.
