bubble tip anemone question

i want to get a green BTA. I know they need good lighting and a mature tank, so here is my tank info:
my tank is almost 2 years old, but i just did a transfer from a regular tank to a 75 gallon DT with 100 gallons total volume. my parameters are all good.
my lighting is a nova extreme pro with 3 actinics and 3 regular daylight bulbs. the actinics are giessemann pure actinics and the regular bulbs are the stock lighting for the tank.
i also want my clowns to host it. how long does it usually take for them to get used to it?
thanks

No guarantee on the clowns hosting it. I've had a BTA for over a month and my clown only pays attention to the anemone when I feed it.
I would think that lighting would be more than enough.

most clowns will host anemones imo. ur lighting is sufficient bc i had a bta under the nova pro, b4 the bta got too big, and i had to gv it away. u r ready imo. bta dont really move much once they find a spot they like. it can get big though. mine grew from 3 inches to over a foot within 5 months.

yeah when I first got mine I put it on top of my bridge rock in the front of my tank; that night it had completley disapeared and was hiding under my LR passage. The next day it found a cave to hide in, and finally 4 days later it settled in a crevice it can hide in at night, and come out during the day to get max flow and lighting on a 90 degree angle to level. Check out my diary for where it ended up. https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/357977/socalnano24s-tank-diary/40 He's doubled in size since I first got him; and I have minimal lighting (according to most) for an anemone.
So yeah, you can't really decide where he ends up, he'll figure it out on his own, they are surprisingly mobile initially.

Over a foot!
Dang, How often were you feeding him, and what? I like mine at his current palm size, but he has doubled in around a month.

I feed mine a krill, about once every 5 days. Otherwise he picks up the copepods I feed my other fish when they happen to be swept through him. Others may feed silversides or mysis shrimp.
