Today I found my bubble tip caught in my filter screen, I quickly removed it and placed it in a container. I don't know what I should do, the anemone was cut some and looked a litte messed up. should I place it back in the tank or could it die and kill all my fish? right now the anemone looks pretty good except for the area that got stuck. I would love some help please!!! THX

Mix up some water fast! Have enough for a 25% water change should you notice anything in the tank looking stressed.
Also, change your carbon every other day for a week to absorb some of the toxins.
Good luck!

I would not have removed it from the system in the first place, many anemones have gone into a powerhead and still survived. However having removed it from the system placed further stress on it.
Your description of cottage cheese is not what I would call a good one to see, I would therefore excpect that you may very well have a dieing anemone on your hands, watch it carefully for the next several hours, you should soon know if it is truely melting, remove it and if it really stinks bad then you will also know.
Run some fresh carbon now if you have any.
Can you give me a pic of the anemone?
