What kind of lighting is he under? Do you spot feed meaty foods? What is your water quality like?
And finally, what kind of circulation do you have in the tank?
Anemone's will shrivel regularly as they expel waste, but they should re-inflate within a few hours after this.

My ammonia, nitrate and nitrite is all 0. Ph is around 8.0 right now. Specific Gravity is 1.026. I have a 55 gallon tank, Emperor 400, 400GPH power head. My big problem is my lighting. I am a newbie and I only have 2 fluorescents. I ordered a CORALIFE 48" LUNAR AQUALIGHT today over the internet. It should be here Wednesday. I only had 50 lbs of live rock spread across the bottom of my tank. I just took it all and stacked it real high and just now sat the BTA on the higest rock closest to the lights... He is start to look a little better.

How long has it been under that lighting? Without coming down on you about it, that lighting is completely inadequate to sustain an anemone. You really should have metal halide lighting, PC's, VHO's or at least some powerful T5's for an anemone - ideally metal halides.
I am not familiar with the light you say you ordered, but what is the wattage? It may not be enough, even if it is more than what you have now.
Also, try spot feeding it an occasional piece of squid or a silverside. Meaty foods are important too.

So you will have 260w of compact flourescent lighting. That my be OK. Definitely sounds much better than what you have now.
Keep up the spot feeding as well. I would try some squid or silversides though. It is more meaty than krill.
Just get that lighting in place, and keep an eye on it. Let us know how things develop...

Well, glad to hear the lighting is coming. Just so people know, it came up in another thread, and you've gone out almost immediately and purchased new lighting. For this, you deserve a pat on the back :yes: 
Anemones typically deflate and and then reinflate as part of their excretory process. It is not all that unusual. Dead anemones look much like a giant ball of snot, but smell horrific. It is not dead. It may just be pooping - but it will be getting a whole lot happier in the coming days

Thanks Ophiura. I certainly do not want and never wanted to get into the habit of killing animals. For this reason alone, I flat out had to buy that lighting. Like I said before, I am a newbie to this hobby. And believe me, I want to have a beautiful tank with fish, anemones, and corals. From reading the posts on here, this learning is a continual process that unfortunately very expensive. But hte reward of having a beautiful tank looks to be well worth it
