Bubble Tip Split after 2 weeks

Hello,
I bought a tiny bubble-tip anemone 2 weeks ago and during this 2 weeks it went from about 2" in diameter to about 6" and when I got home from work today it had split. Is this extremely fast for an anemone to split or are there many factors that contribute to this?

So you think it could be stressed? The water params are perfect, lighting seems sufficient as well. Could a clownfish cause that much stress to an anemone?

What kind of lighting and how many watts do you have?
How long has your tank been setup?
What are your water parameters at (numbers please)?
Can you get a pic of the two anemones and post them here?
I highly doubt that your anemone actually grew 4" in a matter of 2 weeks. It may have just not been fully open in the beginning, then slowly expanded more and more during the day.

I'd also like to know if the lighitng that it came from, before you got it, was less powerful than yours or more.
It could have been ready for a split before you purchased it, but if there was something wrong with your water quality then I would assume that you would be complaining because they are shrinking or doing something else like hiding from the light or other such thing.
As long as it split and looks healthy, things should be fine.
No real gems of wisdom here, but congratulations on the split.
Pics, pics we wan't pics :cheer:
