bubbles algae

i have a peice of dead coral in my tank and it has a zillion bubble algaes on it, if i take it out and then bust them or pick off the ones i can will they still get spores all over or is that the way to do it???

I had a piece i took out and pulled the bubbles off with tweezers. Check ever spot closely then rinse it off with fresh water. Worked for me. I also got some emeral crabs just in case it showed back up. Its been 3 months and no more bubbles.

Do you ever SEE your emerald crabs though? I think mine are MIA, even at night.

from time to time i see both of them. One molted and i thought he we dead. but they are both still kicking it.

I take my LR out and pull the bubbles off, then rinse really well with saltwater. I don't want to get emerald crabs because I've heard they can be really aggressive.
