bubbles from my LR

I have another tank in which bubbles are coming out of the live rock. Right on top of them there is some algae.
My lights are 475W PC... My tank is 75 gallons and I have some blue-leg hermits, crabs, and a snake starfish...
Everything tests OK...
Any ideas what the bubbles might be? Are they good or bad?
???

Yes this is probably bubble algae. I don't consider it a good thing. Do a search on bubble algae and you will find several ways to get rid of it and what not to do.

as mentioned, are they green like the picture above ?
Or are they clear .. like small air bubbles ?
If clear air bubbles, could be oxygen gas from algae respiration - which can be a good thing.
Clear - good
Green - not so good.

Did you just add the lr? If so...try to shake some of the air loose. I have read, but not expirenced, that trapped air when adding lr can kill what you are paying for (the little critters in the holes). Just a thought.
