The top 3rd of my DT has tiny bubbles like micro bubbles maybe from the skimmer being broken in it's a new 125 super skimmer and a new mag 12 i've heard it can take 5 days to break them in.. maybe the bubbles are from the PH's i'm not sure but how do I get rid of them ? I tried moving around and playing with the hose in the sump etc..but still bubbles that tank has been running for almost 4 days so it's early.

i dont think thats due to the skimmer not being broke in, if any bubbles are makeing it to your return pump try adding another pass plate in your sump but have the water passage at the bottom, if your useing a hob filter, arange the skimmer to where you can have the return water dump into the hob befor the the filters and will act as a really good bubble defuser, AND its great for the bio filter in there

Well it's on the right side of the sup but attached to the return pump which is in the sump..it's not a hob well at least not on the back of the DT so I'm confused.

still cant get rid of the bubbles tank has been up for 6 days the hose from the skimmer should be 1 inch away from the foam box that the coralife super skimmer comes with or directly attached in the hole inside the foam which has a rectangle plastic around it ? Also should this "box" be totaaly submeged in the sump or half in and half out ? There's no bubbles in the sump so I can't figure out why I have bubbles in the top third of my DT ...give it another week ? does the superskimmer need to break in to start to skim properly ? so far in 1 week the collection cup is 1/10 full and it set on medium setting. I have no algae in this 120 and the Nitrates are dead 0. I also don't overfeed. somebody help please !!
