same here with my penguin bio wheel, theres too much splashing, and its causing too many bubbles, what i did in my tank is make something that blocks the direction its splashing so it will split into two... not very helpful.. heres a picture
oh yeah bubbles arent good for the tank

yes i know thats a lot of dry salt, i forgot to clean it up last night... so dont complain. :D , well just get a long piece of surran wrap and fold it hot dog style until its long enough to block the direct flow and make sure you use the hood/canapy holds one side and the make sure there is a piece on one side under the filter so it makes a curve and it will hold in place....
If you dont understand tell me, its hard to explain

Actually the water seems to also be flowing down from in between the two outlets on the filter. maybe thats it. Its an emperor 400 so the filter splits the two outlets but between you can see that bubbly water is flowing. Any ideas?

try adjusting the flow so you aren't pulling so much water in. push the grey flow adjuster down a notch and see if this helps
