Bubbles?????????

Today I noticed bubbles forming on the live rock, and escaping from the sand bed. I'm not sure what to make of it.
Is it nitrogen gas meaning the tank is starting to process the nitrate??? I tested my tank before I did a water change the other day and the nitrate was 25-30. I did about a 30% water change, and the nitrate today is just under 15. By the math the water change alone couldn't account for a 50% decrease in nitrate???
If anyone knows if I'm right, please let me know. This is my first reef tank, so a couple more experienced opinions would be great.
Thanks in advance!

The bubbles are most likely gasses being released from the sandbed ... it's okay. As for the nitrates ... you'd be surprised how much a good waterchange can lower them. :D

You may want to make sure your not getting micro bubbles in the tank from your sump or skimmer. Bubbles from the sand is ok as it is part of the nitrogen cycle.
