bubbles?

Should I loose my bubble stick in my reef tank? I keep hearing stuff about people trying to get rid of all bubbles. Aren't bubbles needed to aerate the water or am I mistaken? The bubble stick seems to produce alot of salt residue too. Will my tank be OK if I get rid of the bubble stick?
Thanks!

Get rid of it. You heard it right. If you have reef in your aquarium, it will produce enough oxygen for the fish. If you don't have reef, get a pump that will circulate the water in the tank and evenly distribute the oxygen from top to bottom.
