Sorry to say but if you are asking do not do it.
If you still want to do it start with a smaller tank like 10g to get your feet wet.
Buy acrylic sheets at your local hardware store. HomeDepot, Lowes they all carry them.
Get some good plastic epoxy.
Cut them on a table saw and glue them in place.
I always go over with silicone on all the seams inside for peace of mind.

Doing it is not hard. But to do something that big and have it fail in your LR would be horrible.
If you are one of those Do It Yourselvers like me that makes everything. Then go ahead and do a small one.
I done a few 10g, recently a refugium and my next project is a long tank with separations to use a breeders tanks. I will see if I have luck breeding clowns and cardinals.

I think he is talking about building a much scaled down model of Novice's Tank.
Novice had a lot of in progress pics and I'm sure he wouldn't mind sharing specifics. Your going to want to call his attention on the board.

Already found them Thanks.
Awesome work. How big is the tank?
I though he built all side out of plexiglass. Something that big you need to support 3 sides and leave the front a view area.
Something I may do in the future downstairs.
Doesn't seem hard. Just lots of support and fat plexiglass and super seals.
