Building a Canopy Have some ?'s

I am building a new canopy for my tank and I have a couple of questions. I will be running 6 95w VHO. Would 8 inches high be high enough. I will also be adding fans. The question about the fans would be how many should I run 2 or 4? If only 2 do I run them from the same side or on oppisite sides? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

I agree and I would go with 4 fans having 2 on one side pulling hot air out and 2 pushing cool air in. I think that would work best.

I would go with the 8 inches height and I think 2 fans as exhaust are enough. Why? the distance of 12 inches to the water is too high, light will travel longer before reaching the corals, not to mention air-water interface. Just my .02
