Building a stand, have some ??

I know that you can only support the aquarium from the edges. My qustion is how much support should be there?? Should I build a 1" lip to fit the tank onto or is there more or less needed?? Hope this makes sense......
The planned tank has a 60"x24" footprint

I BUILT A STAND FOR A TALL 30 GALLON ALL I DID WAS MEASURE THE SIZE OF THE TANK AND MADE A SQUARE THE SAME SIZE, THEN I MADE A LARGER SQUARE THAT THE SMALLER ONE FITS INTO. THIS WILL HIDE THE AQUARIUM MOLDING. YOU CAN NEVER OVER BUILD A STAND SO DON'T SKIMP ON THE SUPPORTS.

this is a custom tank with no molding, thats why I needed to find out about the support I dont want to break the bottom of 200 gallons
