bulb opinion please

ok is there much of a difference in these bulbs and which would you pick??
400W MH 20,000K Blue Ushio rated 6000hrs -
400W MH 10,000K Ushio rated 8000hrs - about 10 dollars more

I'm currently using the 10,000k Ushio's on my tank. I'm really liking the crisp white coloration and growth that I'm getting. I don't have any personal experience with the 20,000k Ushio's though. Do the 20,000k Ushio's last as long as the radiums?

they say that the 20k's lose half there intensity in the first few months of use and require you to change them more often

Where was this information from? Was this regarding to the 20,000k Radiums or 20,000k Ushios? I've used the radiums on a PFO HQI ballast, and I do agree that within 4 months, I was seeing much less intense lighting and growth. If the ushio's are the same as the radiums, they will need to be replaced every 6 months, compared to every 12-13 months with the 10,000k Ushios.
